Interesting history, food was good, ordered mussels good but, different then I remember them. David the bartender was amazing handled the entire outside area, and bar area alone. Great job!!
Our first experience at The Salt House...excellent food!...awesome cocktails and the Bartender David was one of the best bartenders we have ever had! So friendly and offered tips and techniques for creating drinks! David really made our experience! We can't wait to go back!
Went here for an anniversary dinner and it must be my favorite meal I've had this decade. The deviled egg appetizer was delicious and so were the meatballs. Our meals were 10/10. The ambiance is STUNNING - such a charming place.
What a cute place full of history. It's a small space with a lot of charm. It was a very busy day and the staff was honest about the kitchen being backed up so we were asked to wait 15 minutes until being seated, which I appreciated. We sat at the bar and had drinks while we waited. I had the crab cake sandwich, it was very good except the fries were not actually belgian fries, they were shoestring. The sandwich and aioli however were tasty. We also enjoyed the grilled artichokes and goat cheese with truffle honey.
This place is one of my favorites in New Hope, the atmosphere specially during winter months while they have their wood fireplace on, is just great, cozy and makes you feel like you are somewhere on a mountain or ski resort. Their food and service is great too. Make sure you reserve a table in advance as they place is pretty small and popular.
